The new fully intergrated one-piece lower deck moulding which the Mk2 Outboard Well shares with the Mk2 Inboard. The Mk2 Outboard Well version has now a large transom well for single or twin engines.
The GRP deck is completely SELF-DRAINING even at rest through non-return valves on the transom. Under the deck is the fuel tank positioned for the best balance. |
The new deluxe console complete with windscreen handrail and ample space for instrumentation and engine controls. Driver, navigator have the new sports seat and rear passengers enjoy the luxury of the new wrap-around bench seat.
A 50 gallon fuel tank with sender unit is positioned under the deck and the engine used is the Mercury 225hp Optimax.

The new fully integrated GRP raised foredeck incorporates a large pop-up mooring cleat forward and two stowage lockers. The forward locker is a "wet" stowage area for such items as anchors, fenders and lines. Any water that is in this locker will drain through an external outlet and not through the bilge of the boat.
The larger locker is a dry space (not guaranteed watertight) for general storage of large items. Both locker lids are flush fitting GRP and are supported by gas struts while open.
This locker also has the option of a ski-bag enabling the safe storage of water-skis (single fuel tank only), the lid has lockable flush catches and both are fitted with flush stainless steel hinges. The complete foredeck area has the option of being teak laid. |
| The spacious dash panel of the console can fit the Raymarine C80 display which is angled towards the driver for easier viewingm together with all the modern outboard instrumentation for twin installation. With the throttles now able to be mounted in the more protected central position, there is still room enough for the switch panel, a stereo headunit and VHF. |

The new upgraded sports seat comes as a standard fit on the boat. |
Another big new feature of the Mk2 Outboard is the aft locker and bench seat. Fitted to the same deck moulding as the 29 inboard Mk2, the outboard well is large enough to allow the biggest engines to fully tilt up out of the water.
This still allows enough space to accommodate a very large locker which has full access to the bilge. As well as housing all the unseen engine parts and the bilge pump, the locker is large enough to stow many other items.
The hatch lid incorporates the bench seat curved backrest which is supported when open by two gas struts and has a lockable flush fitting stainless steel catch.
There is also a further locker under the base of the bench seat. |
